What it does
The recruiter agent runs the full top-of-funnel job search loop:
- Ingest — pull opportunities from job boards, RSS feeds, recruiter emails, and inbound LinkedIn messages.
- Select — score each opportunity against the owner's preferences (compensation band, role shape, location/remote, seniority).
- Apply — generate a tailored CV and cover letter for each shortlisted opportunity, then submit through the appropriate channel.
- Track — log outcomes (replied / rejected / silent / progressed) and feed those back into the scoring model.
- Negotiate — for offers, draft the negotiation email and hand to the human for approval. Same for scheduling interviews.
Why it is interesting
Most AI recruiter products are vendor-side (helping companies screen candidates). This is candidate-side — the same automation pressure but flipped. It is also a useful proving ground for the broader OpenClaw question: how far can a personal agent run autonomously before needing a human in the loop?
Status
In dev. CV pipeline component exists; ingestion + apply path is the active build target.
